O
Rings
O-Rings are produced as a result of the vulcanization of the rubber which is
carried
out by presses fitted with steel moulds. Different types of rubber moulding
are adopted, but the most common used for the specific production of standardized
pieces such as O-Rings is the injection method with closed moulds as it permits
the production of large volumes at extremely competitive prices.
Raw materials used are supplied by the most prestigious companies in this field,
and include Nitrile (NBR), (Silicone (VMQ), Fluorosilicone (FVMQ), Fluorocarbon
(Viton® / FPM), Perfluorocarbon (Kalrez®, Chemraz® FFPM), Ethylene-Propylene
(EPDM), Hydrogen Nitrile (HNBR), Teflon® (PTFE).
NewDeal Seals experts will be happy to give advice on the material suitable
to your application.
